The main goal of this talk is to present a geometric version of the bounded cancellation lemma for endomorphisms of hyperbolic groups and a general idea of how it can be used to prove that every uniformly continuous endomorphism with respect to a visual metric is a quasi-isometric embedding with respect to the geodesic metric. All the needed definitions will be given and details will be avoided.
