In March of 2023 I had the pleasure of joining CMUP as a researcher. Since 2018 I have been an assistant professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), currently on leave.
I received my PhD in 2013 from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) in Brazil, under the supervision of Isabel Rios. This was followed by two post-doctoral positions, one at CMUP under the supervision of José Ferreira Alves, from 2014 to 2016 and the second at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), under the supervision of Lorenzo Díaz, from 2016 to 2018.
My current research interests are in Dynamical Systems and Ergodic Theory, with emphasis on thermodynamical formalism, limit theorems and topological aspects of dynamical systems.
I served the mathematical community in various capacities, including advising undergraduate and graduate students and organising scientific events such as "Three dynamical days at UFRJ" and "Celebrating Women in Mathematics". These international events, which I helped create, are held at UFRJ and count with the participation of a wide group of researchers and graduate students.
I have been supported by various grants including the Junior State Scientist (Jovem Cientista do Nosso Estado 2022) grant by FAPERJ, the research funding agency of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
